Quartet Music Awards Announce Winners and Date for 2023 Show

Atlanta, Georgia – History was made on June 18, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia, when the Inaugural Quartet Music Awards took place with a huge audience at the Center Stage Theater.

Fans, artists and bands of the quartet from across the country enjoyed an exciting musical evening that sparked an atmosphere of praise. A new generation of singers and musicians gave electrifying performances, and legendary artists once again proved why they achieved legendary status in the Gospel Quartet genre.

QMA General Manager D. Chubbs Morton created QMAs to celebrate the legacy and future of the quartet’s music. With only six months of planning, the event was more than a success and is considered a “game changer” for the genre.

“WOW…WOW and WOW is all I can say!” God allowed the first-ever Quartet Music Awards to take place! said D. Chubbs Morton. “It’s a day I will never forget. From staff and artists to broadcasters and ticket buyers, you are the reason the first QMA was a success, and for that, I say THANK YOU!

Morton continues: “The best part of this evening was seeing the Quartet as a whole come from all over the world and show only UNITY. From start to finish, we’ve proven that the narrative has changed for the quartet’s music, and we’re moving on from there. To God be the glory!”

The Quartet Music Awards (QMA) presented sixteen awards and presented QMA Honors to eight avant-garde Quartet icons. According to Connie Birth, COO of QMAs, there were individual winners, but the event was a win for the Quartet industry as there had never been a gender-specific awards show. of this caliber.

“I am blown away and absolutely amazed at how God has done this,” says Connie Birth. “Seeing winners, legends, performers and guests walk the red carpet in their dresses and tuxedos was everything to me! Once we were all seated and the lights came on, I could barely see through the tears… I was so happy and my first thought was: We did it – it’s for us! There was such a sweet spirit in the place. A spirit of jubilation and unity! The smiles and applause from every performer who graced the AQM stage was so heartfelt. It was indeed a memorable night, and history was made!

Still humming along to the thrill and excitement of the night, Morton and Birth are pleased to announce that the QMAs will return for another amazing night on June 24, 2023. The second annual Quartet Music Awards promises to be more big and better. Get ready for another great experience with AMQs!
