NEWARK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Logitech for Creators, an extension of the Logitech brand dedicated to empowering all creators to pursue their passions, today announced the second annual Logitech Song Breaker Awards, the premier music awards show on Roblox (NYSE: RBLX ). The awards recognize groundbreaking creators who are shaping pop music through dance challenges, memes and trends they’ve created and shared on social media, especially TikTok and YouTube, over the past year. The show will premiere on Roblox on Saturday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. PST with three additional performances throughout the weekend. The pre-show experience opens today.
The Song Breaker Awards show is one of many creator experiences as part of Logitech For Creators’ global “Together We Create” campaign, which shares its vision for collaborating with creators to shape the future of creation. whole.
The immersive world is crafted from the pixel as a fun, creator-centric experience for the community to engage and play with their favorite creators in unexpected ways. The Song Breaker Awards will be hosted by a digital artist Bretman’s Rock. Multi-GRAMMY® Award Icon and Artist Lizzo will also make its Metaverse debut on the Song Breaker Awards stage.

Lizzo, who premiered her new song “Special” as part of Logitech CHALLENGE LOGIC campaign earlier this year, will perform the track on stage at the awards show.

For this year’s awards, Logitech and Bretman will spotlight 10 creators. These creators appeared on the Billboard Song Breaker Charta monthly music industry chart co-created with Logitech For Creators, to spotlight forward-thinking creators who are driving music consumption through content creation and positively disrupting the traditional music business model.
Winners include ‘Makers’, creators who have started trends, dances and challenges, and ‘Amplifiers’, popular creators who are responsible for amplifying challenges for their audience and the community. Winners include:
- Cost and mayor – “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind, & Fire (Remix). Husband and wife Austin and Marideth Telenko also worked with Logitech to capture the choreography of all the winners, to turn them into emotes on Roblox.
- David Vu – “Get Into it (Yuh)” by Doja Cat, author
- Draya Mac – “Own Brand Freestyle” by Dreya Mac; Author
- GAILLE – “abcde-forget-u” by GAYLE; Author. GAYLE will receive the Song Breaker of the Year Award. His song had the biggest impact on the Billboard Song Breaker Chart, appearing on the chart for three consecutive months.
- JuucyJ – “Might Be – Remix” by DJ Luke Nasty; Author
- JVKE – “This is what falling in love looks like” by JVKE; Author
- Noah Beck – “Dinero” from Trinidad Cardona; Booster
- Vano 3000 – “Leak” from VANO 3000; Author
- Walker Hayes – “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes; Author. Hayes is nominated for his first GRAMMY Award this year. During the pandemic, Hayes and her family made TikTok videos for fun, creating dances for several songs from her album. Her TikTok video for “Fancy Like” received over 2.5 million likes, which made the song a viral hit.
