There will be a musical renaissance in the Shoals!
FAME Recording Studios partners with 8 Track Entertainment. This means that they will be releasing new records, documentaries and even movies.
The partnership became a reality after 8 Track President Noah Gordon came to visit and noticed the essence of the renowned music studio.
“It was just different,” Gordon said. “My anxiety level went down. My creativity level seemed to go up. You seemed to realize right away that you were standing on the shoulders of giants.”
The first project will be a new album honoring the legacy of the music studio. It will be called “60 Years of FAME and the Muscle Shoals Sound” and will feature several artists, such as Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Demi Lovato and many more.
The studio’s chief executive said he thinks his father, who started FAME Studios, would be proud of what they’re doing to continue the legacy.
“We’re taking young talent and combining it with our legendary guys. They’re all learning and playing together, and we’re going to take that internationally,” Rodney Hall said.
To mark the start of the partnership, Muscle Shoals’ own Shenandoah has signed a contract to record a brand new album, “Back to Where It All Began.”
Other partnership record projects include Ivas John and the LeBlanc Family Band.
