Birmingham Music Awards 2022 winners: Full list of all winners

See the full list of 37 winners at the stunning awards ceremony in Digbeth last night (Wednesday 21 September)

The stars aligned The mill Wednesday evening (September 21) as the Digbeth Hall staged the scintillating annual Birmingham Music Awards ceremony. Hosted by Natalie Graham and BBC WM’s Henry Liston, the action barely stopped from the champagne reception to an unofficial after-party at Nortons bar which continued until dawn.

Organizers Jo Jeffries and Simon Pitt pulled out all the stops to make the event a truly memorable one with a host of stunning live performances from Abz Winter, White Lakes, The Assist, RTKAL, The Novus, Rozzzqween, Bambi Bains and Siphon. showcasing the abundance of talent in the local music scene.

Double winners included Support which won Best Album for Council Pop and Best Song for Better Days, and Gavin Monaghanwho was named Best Producer while his Magic Garden won Best Studio. Lady Leshurr also doubled up, winning Best Female and Brum Bastion.

The awards aim to unite the city but divide at least one family when Jonny Amos of BIMM presented his wife Meldra Guza with the award for best mentor, and there was a poignant moment when local broadcasting legend Robin Valk was posthumously and deservedly honored with an award for ensemble of his accomplishments.
