The event was held virtually in 2020 and there was no event in 2021. Fans will be able to purchase tickets for the event in February. Details on how to watch the event live will be announced soon. Here’s everything you need to know about the artists and winners.

Preparing for Billboard’s Women in Music Awards

With the live show this year, the opportunities will be greater than before! All winners will take the stage to receive their award and perform. With so many award shows and concerts canceled, it’s great to see an event honoring women taking place while the world is still in the midst of such a crisis.

Karol G, a reggaeton artist who rose on the Latin scene by transcending the pop music scene into the American pop space will receive the Rulebreaker Award. Saweetie, who recently garnered attention for songs like “Best Friend” and “Tap In,” will receive the Game Changer Award. Singer American Walker will receive the Chartbreaker Award. The R&B star has broke the record for the biggest debut on the US R&B album charts since Lemonade by Beyoncé. Phoebe Bridges, singer of Sloppy Jane, will receive the Trailblazer Award. Gabby Barrett, who previously participated in American Idol, will receive the Rising Star Award and Bonnie Rait will receive the Icon Award.

With so much female power under one roof, we can’t wait for the show!
